Gambaran Motivasi Belajar Daring pada Siswa Kelas III-VI Selama Masa Pandemi Covid-19 di SDN 043944 Juhar Kabupaten Karo Tahun 2022

Abstract

Background : Online learning motivation is a supporting factor that makes someone willing and happy to mobilize all the skills and abilities they have to carry out activities that are their obligations to achieve the desired goals. The importance of learning motivation for elementary school children is so that students remain motivated to continue their education. Students' learning motivation will increase if the support from internal factors from the students themselves such as intelligence, talent, maturity, readiness, and willingness from within themselves, and external factors also have a considerable influence such as learning facilities, teacher abilities, peer influence, as well as parental support.
Method : the type of research used is descriptive research. The study was carried out starting on May 4, 2022 a sample of 35 respondents using random sampling technique.
Results : Based on the research, it is found that the online learning motivation of grade III-VI students during the covid-19 pandemic at SDN 043944 Juhar Karo Regency in 2022 is in the very high category, namely 30 respondents (85.7%) and 5 respondents (14.3%) who have high motivation.
Conclusion : students' and education staff's learning motivation is to maintain student learning motivation.
