Pengaruh Dukungan Keluarga dengan Keikutsertaan Ibu Hamil Mengikuti Vaksinasi Covid 19
Abstract
Introduction : There were still many people who underestimate the corona virus and did not apply health protocols according to the rules made by the government, so the risk of transmitting Covid-19 was increasing. In addition, early detection efforts were still not optimal because there are still many people who consider the symptoms felt as the common cold and did not have the effort to make early detection by conducting rapid test activities such as antigen swab. This had an impact on increasing transmission, because there could be transmission of Covid without realizing it in the community. Therefore, early screening measures needed to be a concern in preventing the transmission and spread of the Covid-19 virus. Pregnant women were susceptible to health problems, especially infections caused by changes in body physiology and immune response mechanisms. There are still many groups of people who refuse vaccination, especially pregnant women. Family support was the key in accelerating the implementation of vaccination. Families who are aware of the importance of vaccines would influenced their family members to follow the vaccine.
Method : This research was a descriptive research with cross sectional design. The population in this study were all pregnant women who visited the Fajar Clinic, Kecamatan Tanjung Morawa. The samples obtained were 46 people with purposive sampling technique. The statistical test used was the chi-square test with a 95% confidence level (α = 0.05).
Result : The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between family support and the participation of pregnant women in participating in the covid 19 vaccination (p value 0.000).
Conclusion : This study founded a relationship between family support and the participation of pregnant women in the covid-19 vaccination. Midwives at the clinic could involve families in caring for pregnant women and motivate families to support mothers in carrying out the covid-19 vaccination.
