Faktor Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Kunjungan Lansia dalam Kegiatan Posyandu Lansia di Puskesmas Kuta Tinggi Aceh Singkil Tahun 2022

Abstract

Introduction : Elderly (elderly) is a person who has reached the age of more than 60 years and has experienced anatomical, physiological, and biochemical changes in the body. Indonesia is one of the countries in Southeast Asia that has also experienced an increase in the number of elderly people. The elderly population is growing faster than the younger population. The world population is currently in the era of the aging population, with a population aged 60 years and over exceeding 7 percent of the world's population. Therefore, the government wants to improve the quality of life for the elderly by holding programs posyandu elderly. The Elderly Posyandu is an integrated service center for the elderly in a certain area, community-based where they can access health services through the puskesmas program by involving the elderly themselves, their families, community leaders and social organizations.
Method : Descriptive research design. The population in this study was the elderly aged 60 years and over at the Kuta Tinggi Health Center Aceh Singkil using the Accidental Sampling method. The data were processed by univariate analysis
Result : from 111 respondents had knowledge of the elderly in the good category 60 elderly (54.1%), the attitude of the elderly in the good category as many as 77 elderly (69.4%), the elderly who said the services of health workers were good as many as 75 (67.6%) and the elderly who received good family support as many as 54 elderly (48.6%).
Conclusion : Although elderly visits are in the good category, they must still motivate the elderly to visit the posyandu in order to continue to improve the quality of life of the elderly.
