Hubungan Usia dan Paritas dengan Tingkat Kecemasan Pada Ibu Nifas di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Wates Kabupaten Kediri

Abstract

Introduction : During the postpartum period, emotional and psychological changes occur due to changes in roles, duties and responsibilities as parents. In some postpartum mothers, changes in roles during the postpartum period can cause psychological disorders such as anxiety, post partum blues and post partum depression. The factors that cause anxiety in postpartum mothers are physical, psychological and social factors. The way to handle anxiety in postpartum mothers is by carrying out therapeutic communication actions, including by cultivating a good relationship between the midwife and the patient, which can be done by knowing the patient's condition, for example by conducting an assessment of previous births so that the midwife can anticipate to be able to overcome the patient's condition and the patient's tension.Method : Analytical quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The independent variables are age and parity, while the dependent variable is the level of anxiety of postpartum mothers. The sampling technique is total sampling. The research results were processed and bivariate analysis was carried out using the Chi Square test.. Result : aged 20 – 35 years postpartum mothers who were not anxious were 29 people and who experienced severe anxiety were 12 people with statistical analysis results P 0.039 < α 0.05 and primiparas who experienced no anxiety were 19 people and those who experienced severe anxiety were 9 people with statistical analysis results P 0.429 > α 0.05Conclusion : The results of the bivariate analysis were that there was a relationship between age and the level of anxiety in postpartum mothers and there was no relationship between parity and the level of anxiety in postpartum mothers. Suggestions: Postpartum mothers are more willing to seek information related to changes that occur during the postpartum period.
