Dukungan Tenaga Kesehatan dalam Memotivasi Kepatuhan Minum Obat Tuberkulosis
Abstract
Latar Belakang: Kesehatan adalah keadaan sehat, baik secara fisik, mental, spiritual maupun sosial yang memungkinkan setiap orang untuk hidup produktif secara sosial dan ekonomi. Tuberkulosis paru merupakan masalah kesehatan global yang dapat mempengaruhi produktivitas dan kualitas hidup. Menurut WHO, jumlah kasus TB di Indonesia diperkirakan sebanyak 1.020.000 kasus TB baru per tahun (399 per 100.000 penduduk) dengan 100.000 kematian per tahun (41 per 100.000 penduduk). Tuberkulosis paru merupakan masalah kesehatan global yang dapat mempengaruhi produktivitas dan kualitas hidup. Dukungan keluarga dalam meningkatkan kepatuhan pasien tuberkulosis paru untuk minum obat merupakan kunci keberhasilan pengobatan tuberkulosis.
Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui dukungan petugas kesehatan dalam memotivasi pasien tuberkulosis untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan berobat.
Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam dan kemudian dianalisis dengan content analysis. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 6 orang petugas kesehatan.
Hasil: Penelitian ini menemukan empat tema, yaitu (1) Peningkatan pemahaman tentang TB, (2) Pengelolaan interaksi sosial, (3) Keterlibatan keluarga selama pengobatan, dan (4) Hal-hal yang dapat meningkatkan kepatuhan.
Kesimpulan: Disimpulkan bahwa dukungan petugas kesehatan selama pengobatan pasien dapat meningkatkan kepatuhan pasien untuk minum obat secara teratur dan melakukan kontrol/kunjungan secara teratur. Disarankan agar keluarga dapat menyadari dan mendorong kepatuhan minum obat.
