PENDAMPINGAN PADA PENDERITA KUSTA DALAM PERAWATAN LUKA MANDIRI DI PUSAT REHABILITASI KUSTA GEMA KASIH GALANG
Abstract
Leprosy is a chronic infectious disease that if left untreated will cause damage to the skin, nerves, limbs, and eyes. Another risk that may be experienced by people with leprosy is obstacles. Preventive measures need to be taken to prevent the condition from getting worse. The purpose of this activity is to provide assistance to leprosy patients in performing leprosy wound care independently. The method used is to provide material on how to treat wounds and provide independent wound care assistance. The result of this activity is that people with leprosy understand how to take care of themselves, so they can do it themselves at home to prevent injuries. It is hoped that this activity can provide ongoing attention and assistance to people with leprosy, especially in the target area of the Gema Kasih Galang rehabilitation center.
