Abstract
COVID-19 is a type of infectious disease caused by a newly discovered type of coronavirus. The Covid-19 problem has become a pandemic and is currently happening in several countries around the world, including Indonesia. This pandemic problem is troubling all levels of society because it affects all sectors, especially the community's economy and has an impact on daily life which causes many employees to be fired in all work sectors. In tackling this problem, many efforts have been made by the government, namely the policy of always using masks to protect themselves from splashes of saliva from people around them, always washing hands, keeping a distance and avoiding crowds. In addition to this policy, the government has created a vaccine program targeting factory workers, Panca Budi university students and communities around Medan Sunggal sub-district. The strategy used in this community service activity is, of course, first of all by providing a prior understanding of the benefits of vaccines and continuing to strictly adhere to health protocols with the aim of reducing the incidence of Covid-19 and breaking the chain of the virus. The next step is to convey the procedures for vaccination activities carried out on the day of implementation so that the target understands well and the vaccination implementation goes well. This vaccination activity begins with data verification first, then filling in the form followed by screening to find out previous health history, after that an injection is carried out, then observation is carried out for 30 minutes while waiting for the vaccine certificate to be printed.
