Penyuluhan Posyandu Lansia di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Pancur Batu Kabupaten Deli Serdang

Abstract

The impact of the increase in the number of elderly among other issues degenerative disease will often accompany the elderly are chronic and multipatologis, handling and takes a long time and great expense. Facing such conditions need to study the problems of the elderly are more fundamental and according to the need, naturally age will lead to degenerative changes to the manifestation of several diseases such as hypertension, heart defects, diabetes mellitus, cancer of the uterus / prostate, osteoporosis and so on other. Although aging is not a disease, but along with aging, the incidence of chronic disease and incapacity will increase. As for addressing the health problems of the elderly, need development efforts through a group of elderly health centers that include activities promotive, preventive and rehabilitative. The objectives to be achieved from this study was to determine the factors associated with the utilization of Posyandu elderly Teling Over Manado. This type of research is to survey corss sectional analytic approach.
