PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN PENCEGAHAN COVID-19 DI PANTI REHABILITASI KUSTA GEMA KASIH
Abstract
Covid-19 has hit the world, making all countries afraid to face the impact of the incident, not only in the health sector but also in all aspects of life. This is especially true for special groups who are vulnerable to various diseases, including contracting COVID-19. Prevention of COVID-19 continues to be promoted in various accessible places in the hope of suppressing the increase in COVID-19 cases. The purpose of this health education activity is to increase knowledge that will have an impact on the implementation of COVID-19 prevention. The results of the study in May 2021 with the title Relation of Knowledge of Occupants of the Gema Kasih Galang Leprosy Rehabilitation Center with COVID-19 Prevention showed 75% lack of knowledge about Covid-19 prevention so they have a risk of contracting COVID-19. This is the background of the need for health education. The method that will be used is lecture and direct question and answer. The results show that there is an increase in the percentage value of knowledge from before and after the implementation of COVID-19 prevention health education
