IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGY (REBUKING) IN CONTROLLING HALLUCINATIONS AT PROF. DR. M. ILDREM MEDAN MENTAL HOSPITAL IN 2023
Abstract
Hallucinations are one of the symptoms of mental disorders in which patients experience sensory changes in perception, as well as feeling false sensations in the form of sound, sight, taste, touch, or smell. The patient feels a stimulation is not actually. This study aims to determine the Application of the First Implementation Strategy (rebuking) in controlling hallucinations at the Prof. Dr.M.Ildrem Medan mental hospital in 2023. The type of research used is a descriptive design. The sampling technique used was an accidental sampling technique totaling 30 respondents. Based on the results of the research obtained that the application of the first implementation strategy (rebuking) capable as many as 25 people (83%), the application of the first implementation strategy (rebuking) that was unable as many as 5 people (17%). It is hoped that nurses can improve the application of the first implementation strategy (rebuking) in the patients.
