Abstract

This community service activity focused on anthropometric measurements and nutritional status assessment among students at SD Negeri 065014 Desa Namu Gajah, Kecamatan Medan Tuntungan, in April 2026. The activity targeted elementary school students from grades 1 to 6. Anthropometric measurements were conducted using standard measuring instruments, namely digital weighing scales and microtoise, to determine the nutritional status of the students. After the measurements, health education was provided regarding balanced nutrition, early identification of malnutrition signs, and stunting prevention strategies from an early age. The activity showed that anthropometric assessment is important for monitoring children's growth and nutritional conditions while also increasing students’ awareness of healthy lifestyles and balanced dietary habits.
